My baby lost her first tooth! I guess that makes her not a baby any more. And, of course, she swallowed it. Or dropped it in the sink. I’m not sure we’ll ever know. She was concerned though and had me write a note so the Tooth Fairy would know that she had lost it.
So what’s the going rate for teeth these days? Our Tooth Fairy is still living in 1982 and left 50 cents. Luckily L thinks that’s a heap of money. Those were the days.

Ally is sitting here and saw Lizzies picture and started to cheer for her!!!
Okay, I got kind of scr*wed by my parents who gave Allura 5.00 for her first tooth. When she lost her second tooth John thought it was best to get her a gift and not money. So I went to Target and bought her a dress and some tennis shoes that have pink sequence on them. I told Ally that the tooth fairy got her some shoes just like she wares!
Anyway, in the end…I spend like 20.00. Way more than the 5.00 I wanted to give her but oh well. She just LOVES the shoes and wears the dress all the time 😉
Very Happy for you Lizzie…ALLURA (ally wanted me to write that)

I am not going to say what Anthony got for his first tooth, but only because he is A’s only and my baby and is indeed spoiled, but it was around what Marly spent.
Congrats on the first tooth Lizzie! I am sure the tooth fairy will be understanding.

I did an author school assembly the other day, and told the assembled k-4th graders that the tooth fairy ONLY deals in quarters, because she’s got to make her life simple — and that if the kids found something else under their pillows, it’s because of their parents. “Some parents,” I said, “just can’t help getting involved.” HAAA!
I’ve had a lot of parents thank me for helping to keep down their tooth budgets. 😉

Congrats to L! I loved it when my teeth fell out. I would always try to rock them back and forth so they would come out faster. Then, I could get money underneath my pillow.
