Nicole- are these your kids? Adorable!
It’s my favorite song in February- I make every grade sing it (k-5) and they usually humor me. We sing it slower and when we get to “moon” we stretch it out down a dominant 7 chord.

Not my school kids, but the girl in the blue heart shirt is my daughter. Her class has great pitch. I noticed it when I helped with their kindergarten program last year.
