My husband told me this story, so I’m going to try and remember it correctly.
On Tuesday, while I was at Planina, L lined up all the cousins and her brother on the sofa and wanted to take their picture. She couldn’t find the camera, but was undaunted. She found her sketch pad and pen, readied herself to draw their picture and said, “No problem! I’ll just do something that people did a looooooong time ago, way back in the days before technology…”
“You know, like 1982.”

Your timing is incredible. We were just talking about what we took when we went off to college (1985), an electric typewriter, a hot pot, if you were really lucky a minifridge and what our kids are going to be taking with them in 10 years.
I feel like I’m 80 some days 🙂

Heh. I went to college in the ’90s and my computer was so huge it took up my desk, the floor and my dresser. And it wasn’t even in the -86 category (286, 386, 486 etc…) I even got a warning for a noise violation because my dot matrix printer was too loud.
