Woke up this morning and noticed that my notaboob seemed bigger. Realizing that it was probably not growing back, I poked it and it rippled. Like a waterbed. So…back to the surgeon to aspirate the notaboob. 40 ml! Apparently this can keep happening. Woo.

A way with words indeed! I was happy to see you and your sweet family at church on Sunday. Prayers are staying right with you.

Hi Nicole, it’s Carol’s friend who talked to you on Sunday. I am home from mastectomy surgery now. Things went ok. Surgery area is a visual harsh reality of cancer, but they think they got it all. Baby has had ultrasound and is doing fine at 28 weeks. Don’t know yet if they will take the baby before chemo, or if I start chemo end of next week and carry the baby a bit longer. Drs are trying to determine what is best.
Just thought I would check in with you. Trying to rest and recover, but nothing is comfortable with surgery area or pregnancy, much less both at same time.
