L has just recently decided that she needs to help around the house.  It was very sudden.  (Unless you count the thousands of parental requests for help over the past 2 years.)  The funny part is, she will only do it if she considers it a special job.  So she will take the milk jug out to the milk box, feed the dog, and clear the table.  Cleaning up her toys is apparently NOT a special job as she has told me on many occasions.

I subscribe to the Clubmom newsletter and they put your child’s name in the subject header.  I recently received a letter for J that said, “Is J coloring in the lines yet?”  My response is, “Is J still eating the crayons?”
